This will be a super fun, with lots of finished projects for you to take home.

How to get that family photo moment...no matter WHERE you are!!!

Okay so we all WANT that special photo from whatever happens to be the current season or event...but as practically perfect as we all maybe we, we can't always make it as a family to the Pumpkin Patch.  So make the pumpkin patch come to you! Let me show you how.

These are the photos I had taken for my fall layout for my Mom's Scrapbook calendar (don't tell her! LOL):

NOW here is the photo before I cropped the 1st photo look closely to the right side in particular and you can see that mums were on sale; 

Yup, you got!  We are NOT at the pumpkin patch we are in the Walmart parking lot near the garden center door.  This is the decoration they have set up showing off the Halloween sale they are having inside (the sign was to the left which I made sure to sit us clear of). 

You don't need your good camera always, these photos were taken on my cell phone.

Keep this in mind the as Christmas is coming and your family is all together and you are at the mall and you see a great mall display with an awesome sleigh or snowman, its time for a quick family photo....store workers are great helpers for this if you want the whole family.

Halloween My Creations Ring Box

I decided after finishing my Halloween ring, that I need something fun to keep it in while I'm not wearing it.  Using My Creations Kraft Ring Box, Sarita matching fabric, and some matching baubles from that same retired CTMH accessory pack (sorry everyone when I tell you to buy them before they are gone I mean it :)!).

Halloween Base and Bling Ring

I am loving CTMH's Base & Bling jewelry because it is giving me away to make fun and trendy jewelry for just a few dollars.  I wanted something for the Halloween season, so I decided on a ring.  Sarita's fabric has that warm and rich orange tone fabric that is PERFECT for Halloween.  Take a look!!!!

Using the twisting techinique similar to the necklace kit (which is really really easy its folding long narrow strip of fabric, with cut seams inward to prevent loose threads, tightly twisting).  For an added something, as I twisted I also wrapped the twisted fabric with black embroidery floss to give it just a little something extra (think of the possibilities you can twist into your projects).

When I was all done twisting and wrapping this down onto the big red tape glue dot, I added a retired CTMH skull brad by putting some liquid glass on the end of the brad and just pushing it into the tightly wrapped fabric.

I love the results! and when all is said and done I have only a couple of dollars into the whole project and it only took a few minutes to make!

These are sooooo much fun.

I wanted to show off my Base and Bling Necklace that I made in under an hour!  Fun, right!  Best part, this homemade jewelry comes in a ready to make, easy kit from Close To My Heart.  All the pieces shown and more (listed below), plus adhesive and full directions are included with the kit.

Guest Studio J designer - two layouts with opposite techniques/great results

I love how Rose made this layout so fun and flowing, yet it is crisp and clean.  Sometimes we get so caught up in themes and decorating our pages our pictures and stories become second fiddle and here that is clearly NOT the case. Great job and great layout Rose!!!!

The 2nd layout we have today is bright, colorful, and engaging just like her pictures of her kids at the Children's museum.  Another great job of letting the photos direct the story.

Lesson of the day is whether you like clean lines or bold color remember BOTH can be great as long as your photos are the stars as they are here!

Proplayer notebook

I made this quick and easy Proplayer notebook using Cricut Artbooking & Artiste cuts, and 1 sheet of B&T paper.  See the spiral on it, that is made with our new twist tie, wrapped around a pencil and then pulled out for length.  I glued it on with liquid glass, and squished down.

The CTMH elves (Denice, Linda, Heather and Dana) have

been busy creating holiday gift ideas, cards and projects

to help you get started on the soon to be here

"Holiday Season." (fall holidays will be covered too!)
We'll have many projects to choose from!

There will be four stations each with an instructor.  Stay all day or just come for a while.  You choose which projects you want to make.  Each project will have a small fee ranging in price from $1-$5.

You'll pay as you go. Please plan to bring 1's and 5's. 

This is a great way to get those inexpensive cards and gifts made early for family, friends and co-workers.
