Teenager journalling

So anyone that has or ever has had a teenager, especially a boy knows that getting them to tell you the back story behind their pictures is not easy...Well I've been Studio J-ing my son's pictures and actually talked him into writing the journalling.  It wasn't a lot, just enough and its his own words!  How--well I have to say a little Mom trickery may have occurred, when I asked him for help he was all ughhhh, I don't want to do that!  So I told him no problem I would just add cute stories I remembered from when he was little....okay so it was a little more like Mom extortion but you got do what you got to do!

Liebster Blog Award Winner!

I am so exited, I just received a blog award: The Liebster Blog Award.  I was nominate by Lauren Loves To Scrap.  It feels great to be recognized as one of someone's favorites as I put a lot of time and effort into my blog for you all!

The origins of the Liebster Blog Award are somewhat unclear to us but the general consensus is that it originated in Germany, Liebster, meaning "favorite" or "dearest", to showcase bloggers with fewer than 200 followers. Upon receiving this award, the recipient must then pass it on to five more blogs of note.

So here are the rules when you receive the Liebster Blog Award:

** Show your thanks to the blogger who gave you the award by linking back to them. Thanks so much Lauren! (check out her blog, it's new but already has some nice artwork on it)
**Reveal your own 5 picks (with less than 200 followers) for the award and notify them (Not so easy since I have lots that I just love to follow!)
**Post your award on your blog
**Feel proud and bask in knowing that others will be searching out your blog
**And lastly and the best rule, have fun!
So in keeping with the "Inspiration" theme, here are my 5 picks (not in any particular order, blogs that inspire me:
2) Patty's ~ Pssmitty.blogspot.com
I hope you enjoy these blogs as much as I do! Thanks for the award Lauren...it made my day!

Here's the catch quantities of kits are extremely limited so please contact me as soon as possible to reserve your kit!

Pemberley Studio J

One of my favorite tools with Studio J is the variety of uses for your My Stickease.  You can use them multiple times, you can resize them, you can layer them, you can split them between pages.

This layout of my kids lounging is made with Pemberley papers.  The second layout was made with the same papers from our art studio.

Zooming in

I love how easily it is with Studio J to blow up photos. It allows you to zoom in and crop closer making those photos you take of your living room to get it all in (I know you do it to) great now.  Because look what happens when you zoom in close to there faces getting rid of the mess. The results turn out great.  I love the photo of the wrestling on the left.

Okay, so after a sleepless night over the thought of kids in outfits that weren't going to coordinate and that I wouldn't be able to easily spot them from anywhere....I had an idea so off to the store at 0:dark thirty this morning before our amazing day!  What do you think?!?!  I know the girls' loved it and thought it was great that we had accessories and they LOVED mugging for pictures all day.
