Step 1Choose
a light-colored ribbon and ink that coordinates with your paper. Cut the ribbon
slightly larger than the length you will need. Select a My Acrylix® stamp that will fit visually on the
ribbon.
Step 2Ink
the entire stamp with a fair amount of ink. If you are using a stamp with two
lines, stamp the top line sentiment first (centering it vertically on the
ribbon), allowing the bottom line to stamp onto a piece of scrap paper. Press
gently but firmly—too much pressure will cause the image or word to bleed into
the fabric of the ribbon.
« Step 3If
you are using a two line sentiment, re-ink the entire stamp to assure equal
coverage. Stamp the bottom line sentiment on the ribbon next to the first
image, this time allowing the top line sentiment to stamp onto a piece of scrap
paper.
It's a good idea to test your ribbon and ink combination
before stamping your final ribbon.
