Lollydoodle To Do Set

Look at this super fun Lollydoodle project I made.  The project was designed by Gail Vought, a CTMH sister of mine.  The daily to do tablet came from Michaels.

To give the otherwise flat flowers that element of dimension I used a fat ended dry embossing stylist and rubbed on the back side in a circular motion while on a thick padded surface (fun foam/mouse pad works perfect).

Leap into Luck - Leprechaun Shoes

It's my absolute favorite day of the year!!!!  May the Luck of the Irish be with you always!

In honor of my favorite day I wanted to share one of my favorite things I've made lately. 

I love how easy CTMH's glitter paper is to work with.  I just trace the shape on the back with pencil, which is plain and flat.  I also recommending NOT using your good scrapping scissors for glitter paper.  I usually use my household junk drawer scissors, you know the ones I mean lol.

I wanted to wish everyone a safe and Happy St Patrick's Day!!!!

 Here is a picture of a project I made this year covering wood cut outs (from Wood Creations),with CTMH papers including our brown glitter paper for the base and trim; next painting the edges with acrylic paints.  I added some sparkle with CTMH's Babycake embellishments on the base and on the top hat.

Husband manuevers - when it comes to our stash

Okay so who is coming over to my house tomorrow to distract my husband, while I stalk the Fed Ex driver AND then open my boxes and pull out my new stash?!?!? Hmmm, volunteers???? Anyone, anyone??? I don't even need to put it away because he really won't know the difference I just need to get it out of the boxes and get rid of the evidence.

Easy repurposing - fun gift pail idea

I bought this super cute pail from the dollar bin at Target, and the quickly decorated the pail with CTMH's dimensional elements and accessories with foam tape.  I hand-cut a die cut shape of a shovel from B&T papers and then spelled out and stamped my message. For some added fun, inside my pail were some rainbow sour patch candy worms.

DIE CUT TIP: The easiest way to find the a specific shape like my shovel is to Google "free shovel template image" or whatever the image name you are after is in your search line.  Usually a large variety of choices will quickly become available for you to choose from

15 minutes to complete this CTMH Studio J Express Collection Layout!

Here is a favorite "Photos" of my Mom's Calendar this year.  The Studio J layout page on the left is January's photo.  The page on the right is September's photo.  For me, this is a layout in my 2013 scrapbook!  Win, win situation all around because I only had to scrap these pictures once in Studio J and when it came time to order I just ordered extra copies.  Super easy, remember one layout equals two months and just glue to CTMH's inexpensive but good quality blank monthly calendar.

March Stamp of the Month - Happy Place

Happy Place is March's super fun Stamp of the Month set.  I am in Love.  I wish we would have had it last month with the Russian Olympics and all the nesting dolls.  I can't wait to get mine.

Studio J Layout - 1st seeing snow

It is so easy using Studio J's Express Collection.  This was a DROP & DRAG in my photos layout.  The title and decoration/design work was already done for me.  All I had to do was add the kids pictures!  It took about 10 minutes. 

One fun tip was that on the left page I used the same picture in 2 boxes side by side; enlarged them to 200%, and then aligned them correctly (so Avery's legs matched up lol) and it made for a great effect I think.  I also changed the journalling boxes on the right page into a photo well too because I journalled a lot on the next page.
